Try it with a real show — free
The trial isn't a demo. It's your first event, live, with everything turned on.
- 1
Sign up and verify
Create your venue and complete identity verification with Stripe. No credit card.
- 2
Publish one event, free
Paid or free entry, full features: page, checkout, QR tickets, door scanner. It keeps selling until the show ends.
- 3
Subscribe for show #2
Publishing your second event — or republishing after the first ends — starts the subscription.
What about payment fees?
Buyers pay the ticket price you set. Period.
No service fees, no ticket fees, no surprises at checkout.
You pay card processing only.
Stripe's standard processing fee (2.9% + 30¢ per transaction) comes out of your ticket revenue. Loftstage adds nothing on top.
Common questions
- Does a free event use up my trial?
- Yes. Any published event — paid or free entry — is your trial event. A free show with a working door scanner is the whole product, so it counts.
- What happens if I cancel my subscription?
- Your data stays intact and buyers keep their tickets. Ticket sales close, unsold events return to draft, and the dashboard becomes read-only until you reactivate — which takes one click. Refunds always remain available.
- What if a subscription payment fails?
- You get a 3-day grace period with email reminders before anything is paused.
- Do you support reserved seating?
- Not yet — events are general admission at launch.
- My venue is outside Canada or the US.
- We're Canada/US-only at launch. Sign up to join the waitlist and we'll email you when your country opens.
