Le Cabaret du Plateau presents
Friday Night Comedy
Before you go
About this event
An all-night set from Kora — deep, hypnotic, room-shaking. Doors at 11:30 PM, the first kick at midnight, and the last record spinning somewhere on the soft side of sunrise. Bring water, bring patience, bring the version of yourself that doesn't check the time.
Kora has spent the last three years quietly carving out a sound that sits between dub-techno's long shadow and the warm low-end of West African percussion. The result is music that walks more than it sprints — patient, repetitive in the way good rituals are repetitive, and built for the kind of room where the ceiling is low and the bass hits you in the sternum before it reaches your ears.
The space itself is part of the program. A converted textile loft with a 1976 Klipsch rig, four hundred capacity, no phones on the floor, no VIP rope, no opening act that doesn't belong. The bar pours until 3, the kitchen runs a short menu past 1, and the smoking terrace stays open as long as the music does.
Tickets are non-transferable and capped at two per person. Doors close at 1 AM sharp. Photo ID required. Be kind to the room and to each other.
